Description: A procedure to reset the FortiClient configuration Lock.
Components: FortiClient 4.0/4.1

Steps or Commands To reset the FortiClient Lock password
1. Reboot pc in safe mode.
2. Launch the regedit application.
3. Locate the key HKLM/Software/Fortinet/FortiClient/FA_FCM/.
4. Make sure the directory and file Enabled administrator full control permisson is correct.
5. Delete the "password" registry key.

All FortiClient Users 4.0 and 4.1
